Coming this Fall:

Coming in September:
An excellent and informative speaker, Mr. Josey Paul, Journalist, Solar designer, and environmentalist. Josey lives "off the grid" and uses Starband satellite to access the net, driving everything with solar panels. He has worked as editor of Solar Washington and is the founder of Skyfire Unlimited (a non-commercial solar consulting/advocacy firm). Previously (12-05), Josey brought in a fully working solar system and demonstrated it. He emphasized the ability to save electricity in the standard home by using low energy lamps and shutting off appliances that use phantom power. He will be talking to us about Solar Power and efficient light sources for your home and shop. [Background: See: http://michaelbluejay.com/electricity/general.html  ] - tp.
